“Changes in ABYC Electrical Standards”

There have been several changes in the ABYC electrical standards as a result of a four-year review. (1) Leakage current trip main circuit breakers for shore power are required beginning in July. (2) DC wire ampacity tables are reduced when cables are bundled or sheathed. Wayne will discuss the rationale behind the above changes and other changes and issues that will be addressed in the next ABYC review.
